Jersey Christmas Walk

The latest Jersey Christmas Walk took place on Saturday, 10 December 2011. The 2011 photo album has been released with more images being added in the coming weeks.

In 2011 there were four options open to walkers:

Team Relay Walk (8:30am start)
18 mile challenge (8:30am start)
26 mile challenge (2:00am start)
44 mile challenge (2:00am start)

The monies raised in 2011, looking to be over £16,000, support 2 local charities, Jersey Hospice Care and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

25/01/2012 Presentation evening date changed to 23 February 2012

To accommodate some of our walkers, the presentation evening will be held on 23 February 2012.

We are finalising details for our presentation evening, where we shall present cheques to the charities (and certificates to our walkers).

Congratulations to the 179 people who took part in this year's Walk. The Walk times and statistics are now available.

Who do we support?

Jersey Hospice Care: A specialist palliative nursing service which provides holistic care, free of charge, for patients with cancer and motor neurone disease.
Motor Neurone Disease: Funds and promotes global research into Motor Neurone Disease and provides support for people affected by MND.
